Environmental Policy.

Colourfast World Limited is committed to helping minimise the impact our business has on the environment. Central to our operations and decision making is an active and responsible approach to sustainability:

  • All our paper is sourced from a responsible source that is either FSC or PEFC certified companies. This means you can be rest assured that the paper used is from a reliable and trusted source.

  • For every project we complete, we plant a tree through TreeApp. By the end of March 2025, we have planted 2,800 trees covering 18,676m², which will absorb 305 tonnes of CO₂ from the atmosphere during their lifetime.

  • Where possible, we use vegetable-based printing inks which are more environmentally friendly than conventional printing inks.

  • We recycle as many elements of the print process as possible. All metal printing plates used on litho presses are recycled and chemical-free. These can then be used for several products including engine blocks for new cars. All toners and biodegradable lamination film waste are recycled. All ink is disposed of responsibly and can be used to ignite blast furnaces in hospitals or cement kilns. We ensure there are different recycling points for paper, plastic and aluminium. All paper waste is recycled and converted into packaging.

  • For point-of-sale production we only use materials that are easier and less costly to recycle.

Sustainability is more than just a policy; it’s part of who we are. By choosing Colourfast World Limited you’re supporting responsible printing that cares for both your brand and the environment. We, like you, want our planet to survive for many years to come so future generations can enjoy the immense beauty this world has to offer.
